“Everything has its own unique beauty and energy, it’s just a matter of taking the time to see and experience it. Often true beauty is taken for granted, simply because it’s not always the expected. Sometimes the perception of ugliness is nothing more than an opportunity to view beauty in another light – such as an apple that has turned brown. As an artist I try to find the beauty that is over looked and capture the energy it possess in that moment of realization before it passes. If I’m lucky I will be able to save it forever in the form of art…my art”.

Darcy Kramlich grew up in Detroit, Michigan. As a child she always knew she wanted to be an artist but she wasn’t sure as to what capacity it would be in. Once out of school she decided to use her creative abilities in the advertising sector and opened up a marketing business. She has since spent that last twenty years of her life in the field of marketing and creative design specializing in corporate branding. Although she has enjoyed a successful career in her field she stilled wanted more, she needed to get back to her art!

In 2000 Darcy decided to pick up where she left off as a child and began drawing again. Eventually she started painting and hasn’t stopped since. While still continuing to help companies with their business and marketing strategies Darcy continues to create art and can now honestly say she is enjoying a balanced left and right brained life!

Darcy is currently involved with organizations that work with children in the areas of education and art and hopes to eventually create a foundation that provides art education for all children.
